#1444 Capital Hilton

The Capitol Hilton is another one of the old world hotels in Hilton's inventory, like the Seelbach Hilton, the Waldorf-Astoria, and the Hilton Chicago. Location (2 blocks from the White House) and service were hard to beat, but the room and decor were quite badly in need of a refresh - you can look old but you don't have to look tired. As for the view ... I'm speechless.

#10182 Hilton Washington

Looking out the front entrance rotunda and Connecticut Avenue, which leads downhill left to the White House 2 miles away. The side entrance is where Reagan got shot.

#723 Hilton Washington Embassy Row

One of my favorite hotels in DC, right off the Dupont Circle Metro station. From here, I can easily run to the White House, the Mall, Congress, the Washington Monument, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial.
