A depressing view outside if ever there was one, but behind me and a only a couple of blocks away is a vibrant college town atmosphere fed by the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University.

Dawn breaks over Three Rivers Stadium on the morning after Super Bowl Sunday. It was surreal watching the Steelers on TV last night playing in Tampa, while over my shoulder the home stadium stood silent, deserted, and strangely lit up like a birthday cake.
